In August 2000 they open a Health and beauty center. Golf, horse riding, gym, aerobics, tennis court, skiing, running tracks, football, ice hockey and water activities in the Lake Mälaren. The hotel, originating from 1886 and rebuilt in 1983, stands on the site of a mediaeval church and churchyard. This is no surprise to the staff of the restaurant Johanna, which has always held to tradition. | | From Stockholm by Car:
Turn off the second turning from E18 (by McDonalds). Follow the signs to centre. You will pass among others Statoil and Ratt Pris (a supermarket). Drive right through the roundabout, and go straight on after the traffic lights. The street you are on is Fjardhundragatan. Turn left at the next traffic lights and go straight through the coming roundabout. Hotel Park Astoria is now on your right side. You can find a parking place in our backyard. Please follow the parking sign.
From Vasteras by Car:
At the roundabout, drive towards the centre and follow that street, Westerlundsgatan. You will turn right at the 3rd traffic light and drive straight through the roundabout. Hotel Park Astoria is now on your right side. You can find the parking place in our backyard. Follow the parking sign.
From Uppsala by Car:
Drive down on E18 (motorway) and follow the instruction from Stockholm.
By Train: You can walk to the hotel from the railway station. The walk takes about 10 minutes. Follow the signs down to the centre. The street you are on is Drotminggatan. When you come down to the roundabout, turn left and walk beside the small park. The hotel is now straight ahead. If you rather would like to come with a taxi. There is a post for a taxi where you can phone one if there's not one standing already.
By Bus: From the bus station (in the centre of Enkoping) go toward ICA Stjamkop. Follow this street to the next crossing. Look up to your left and you will see a church (Varfrukyrkan). The hotel is on the right side below the church. |
